Hi, my name is Ashlee. I went from no kids to 3 in just 3 short years! Raising them as a single mom since the baby was 9 months old.

When I need a break from the madness, I pick up shifts at work…..and I work in an emergency room if that says anything…

 

I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and I have worked in a pediatric ER since the grand opening of our dept (minus about 2 years when I worked in the pediatric ICU/hospitalist service).

 

I went to undergrad at UAB majoring in Biology/Chemistry, did UAB’s post bachelor’s nursing program, and finished with a dual masters in their primary and acute pediatric NP program. So as an alumni UAB Golden Girl dancer, I will continue to say GO BLAZERS as I pay off all of the debt I owe them. 🙂

Other than family and work, there is my “framily.” My mom squad. My mom tribe. They are my glue in life. Without them I wouldn’t be sane, or wouldn’t have anyone reminding me about events, or wouldn’t have anyone to have Christmas cookie decorating parties with, or tag me in pre-sell groups, remind me about clothing releases, or peer pressure me into spending all of my money on Matilda Jane…

Every mom needs a tribe. A non-judgmental, loving tribe that helps you “mom.”

My hobbies include starting a craft and not finishing it, collecting devotional books/apps that I never read, and pinning workout plans that I will never start. And now a blog! Enjoy!
